"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly."
--Thomas S. Monson, October 2008 General Conference
So whenever we put Brielle in her Bumbo chair on the kitchen counter, she immediately gets a serious face and starts to grab and move everything around her. Like it is her job to rearrange the kitchen. And it's a serious job which requires total concentration. Silly girl.
This weekend has been epic. Lots of pictures and lots of fun. But its 10:18 and after all of the running around and fun from this weekend, I am tired. So I will update on this weekend tomorrow.
Until then, my thought for the day: even though they can be frustrating, enjoy the marks all over the house. Because they are little signs that your children are there. Which is just where I want them to be. And as I scrubbed all the above marks off my walls and windows this weekend with a magic eraser, I realized, they are my favorite marks.
